| Business Continuity Planning is a holistic management process that identifies potential impacts that threaten an organisation, and provides a framework for building resilience and the capability for an effective response which safeguards the interests of its key stakeholders, reputation, brand and mission critical services. For over 20 years, Negenit partners have been providing Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery expertise and best practices to clients through its BCP Methodology — from the initial business impact analysis through to solution implementation and management; we also perform regular plan testing. Negenit incorporates the extensive knowledge and experience that it has in the area of business operations, voice, data, IT computing, networking, and technologies into all business continuity management assignments. BCP Readiness Assessment Negenit will conduct a high, mid, detailed or rapid level assessment based on the amount of analysis and review to be performed. The assessment assumes the recovery element(s) is/are already in existence, and Negenit will provide the Client with feedback on the workability, effectiveness and cost-efficiency, with improvement recommendations, of the recovery element(s) evaluated. Business Impact Analysis (BIA) The BIA is the process used by Negenit to define financial, operational and qualitative impacts incurred to a Client's business as a result of a service interruption. A BIA assesses potential loss of critical business processes and supporting systems and establishes or validates a Client’s Recovery Time Objectives (RTOs) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPOs). Requirements Definition This service assists the Client in identifying (or reviewing) technical, business and/or other recovery requirements needed at the time of a business interruption. A current business / technology profile must exist that identifies the Client’s technical environment (i.e. processing platforms, Local and Wide area network(s), storage devices and critical applications) and the business environment (i.e. work area, office equipment and other special devices) that support critical business applications. Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPO) must also be established prior to defining critical business functions. This is an integral part of the BIA process but can be delivered separately. General Solution/Strategy Design The strategy design services provide an optimal business continuity strategy for a Client's technical and/or business environment. Using previously defined RTO’s and RPO’s together with a technical and/or business profile of the environment, Negenit consultants will develop recovery alternatives and make recommendations that support the Client's recovery requirements. Detailed Solution/Strategy Design The strategy design services provide an optimal business continuity strategy for a Client's technical and/or business environment. Using previously defined RTO’s and RPO’s and a technical and/or business profile of the environment, we develop recovery alternatives and make recommendations that support the Client's recovery requirements. Implementation Services Negenit will provide support to the Client in the implementation of the approved Recovery Strategy. Besides project managing the implementation of the selected recovery strategy, this service includes the installation and verification of equipment that makes up the recommended and preferred technical solution. BCP/DR Plan Development A Contingency Plan provides a predetermined set of action oriented procedures and documentation that defines the resources, actions, tasks, data, and processing priorities required to manage the business continuity and restoration process in the event of an interruption. The Plan will be designed to assist the Client in restoring the Technical, Business and Infrastructure process within the stated continuity objectives. BCP/DR Testing Program Development and Assistance This Life Cycle service is focused on the development and documentation of a dynamic testing program for the Client. Negenit will assist Client in the development of a formal testing program and/or in the execution of a testing exercise at an alternate site. BC/DR Program Maintenance Negenit provides a formalized process that will assist the client in the maintenance and continuous improvement of the business continuity program at any Client's specified facility. Pandemic Preparedness The Negenit Pandemic Preparedness Assessment is designed to help clients evaluate their ability to cope with a Pandemic crisis and learn how they can better prepare to safeguard their business. Negenit will review the client’s current crisis response and continuity program, leveraging documentation reviews, interviews and one or more on-site walkthroughs. The final deliverable will be a written report of our findings that will identify gaps and potential vulnerabilities, and recommended actions/improvements you can make in policies, plans, operations and infrastructure to help mitigate the Pandemic risks. Crisis Management / Emergency Operations Service A formal Crisis Management / Emergency Operations Plan should be a standard element in any Business Continuity Program. When building a BCP, many businesses focus only on the recovery of business functions and infrastructure. They fail to consider the initial steps necessary and on-going management of a disaster situation.
